TN Tech Motorsports Collegiate Design team is the ultimate “Makers Program". The team competes each year in Formula SAE student design program at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan against 120 international teams. The TN Tech Motorsports Formula Collegiate Design Team includes all aspects of developing a performance vehicle business model. Formula SAE Teams are empowered with the task of researching, designing, fabricating and testing a one-quarter scale open wheeled race car, while developing a business model capable of marketing, manufacturing, and producing 1,000 cars per year.
